Seems to be the case that dark liquidity never appears in the course of sales. I've often made trades where my volume never appears on screen, nor does it touch the bid/ask. Like it never happened - invisible. And yet I get filled. The potential for abuse seems massive... I don't get it.
If anyone knows otherwise, let us know.
