My view on hedging is that on average you will lose an amount that is equal to the hedge expense, which then becomes revenue for a bank. So NEVER hedge! If you are feeling the need to hedge for comfort, it's better to shut down the operationThat's my stance. As brokers say about hedging, "double commish commish".
