Agree there could be consolidation and synergies if they back the right horses and get a bigger market share, but doesn't that mean they sort of brought the wrong horse to begin with?
Also I laughed at the credibility thing when mentioned regarding the ToyStore background....how does an ASX listed company with significant amounts of publicly available information have less credibility than any new high street mom & pop retailer that is just starting out....people do start new businesses everyday and get supplied with products, its not that hard and that is where part of my concern lies, if you are going to run an online retail business, you should be able to get these things off the ground without acquiring something!!
On the point of cross promotion....what cross promotion? If you shopped on YHD, you would have no idea that the company also ran WowBaby and vice versa. The sites are advertising free, which I understand to a degree, but why they don't dedicate a small space to advertising their own network I am not sure.
