The company in the past has stated local corruption and has indicated the local police chiefs. If people invested in this company without researching West Papua it's not the company's fault.
Plus I don't wish for West Wits to start stating how corrupt and terrible everything is and pointing fingers. We do have to deal with these people and nothing will ruin the potential here more than white people pissing off the local Indonesians in power. It might be frustrating but polite diplomacy is preferred. By me anyway even if it takes time.
This was always going to be a slow process. My only gripe is that I wish they would keep us better informed. The time taken was expected. Seems to be inching closer.
