I took the 'article' in question as being someone's interpretation / take on a mixture of what was said in the formal and informal chats (over a beer) at the end of the 'formal' presentations. Some directors and executives chat and entertain and even put forward hypotheticals over a beer after the presentation. I don't think it was particularly driving the price down but the hypothetical takeover price seems to be ~ 5 times the current share price what ever that is at the time.
