I did not say Stokes is a fool. I said his buying was holding the share price up based on a long term dream. A fact that seemed obvious using any basic comparison to the share prices of other players in the Cooper. Now factor in another capitulation in the oil price and what do you get?

I did not pretend I didn't know anything. I said all along that I didn't know how to value the wet gas discoveries at the exploration stage that they were at and I was hoping someone else on HC might be able to help me. No help was forthcoming. I've always said that I think the wet gas discoveries haven't been properly priced into the DLS share price. I also said that I didn't understand the model when it came down to who is paying for the gas Capex and how the infrastructure fee pricing is worked out to get the gas to the eastern seaboard. Again no help from the people on these threads.

What is the basis for your complaint? If there weren't market makers in half of these stocks their share prices would become illiquid and the volatility on bad days would be even worse. So the market makers have sensibly repriced the stock based on the uncertainty of the oil price in the short to medium term. What's wrong with that. Aren't the markets supposed to be efficient?

What do you want to listen to all day, opinions that are humble and wrong. I'm sorry that the oil price is on the slide but that's just something investors will need to live with and base their decisions on going forward.
