Actually I've been investing/trading for almost 30 years and as main source of income since about 10-15 years ago majority of which is US based, and some Euro,TSX.
I don't hold ASX stocks for a few reasons, one of them being that over a particular time period I use to work for one of the main Aus banks, one of the conditions within the contract was that I had to disclose any buying or selling of ASX listed companies and couldn't sell any shares within 30 days. Which proved to be far more hassle that it was worth so I shifted what was left of my ASX trading at the time to the TSX and never returned.
