"Senior leadership" to me means C Suite positions. What C Suite position ddid he hold at either of those three organisations? As an aside and not really of course anything down to him, MLC has performed better since his departure, that is a fact. Perhaps he can turn Suncorp Life around from the loss and reputationally busting unit it has become. I was more referring to the lack of regulatory standards in licensing the authorised or approved officers of big insurance public companies. It is not eexactly the standard of insurance supervisors globally.
The quota share that IAG haas with Berkshire Hathaway is very commercial and IMHO it is the best that IAG could have hoped for given their respective bargaining position and the firepower that Berkshire Hathaway brings to the table.
SPs go up and down. For the moment, it is up as is BOQ for that matter. IAG is down, too true. I would not trade for now but for when I am thinking of seling, a function of supply and demand, and, in equities, market sentiment.
Too true, SUN is a bit concentrated in terms of its risk with Queensland, a state that under Palazszcuk is not doing as well commercially as in the past IMHO but pls DYOR.
