I get the feeling management is setting the company up for a takeover. Now that the IP is transferrable, the MC looks attractive.
Even if they don't receive an offer, they'll still need more cash to get the trials going. But at least those with the cash know that they are buying a share of the IP as well as the capital.
I think this will be the first in a string of announcements to bolster the share price before they do a cap raise.
