I wrote to AON and asked a couple of questions about HPX. The following is a small part of a reply I received from:

Under the agreement HPX may earn up to 80% interest in the JV. HPX may earn an initial 52% interest in the JV by expending up to $1.7M by 31/12/2015, and through a further $1.7M investment may earn an additional 29%, totalling 80%. Currently HPX is progressing with the terms of the JV as agreed.
HPX have demonstrated their ongoing support through their commitment to fulfil the initial expenditure commitments to earn 51%. It is HPX decision to elect and pursue additional interests in the tenements.
All work and expenses conducted by the JV is conducted in accordance to financial reporting standards. The companies continue to work closely on the tenements and maintain open communication with respect to exploration.
