shenanigans are happening on the ASX and what other's experiences have been.

Of course they are happening ... Orders vanish all the time as soon as you place an order.... Check out small biotech stocks. It will take a crash like whats happening in china at the moment to force regulators into action by the masses , see article below about what the chinese are facing today :
