I loved AAC and traded it until their results announcement that simply confirmed (imo) they have pulled the wrong rein with the abbatoir and are not benefiting from the current trading conditions - Cparker - you continue to quote the index going up and up - this would be great if AAC were selling into other trading markets and taking the margin but all these fools are doing is paying too much to supply their inefficient abbatoir (with brahman cattle!)....and running down their herd profile to do it - as i have said before they should have strategically developed their herd to jam the live exporters with all the cattle they need into Russia, China, Indonesia, Vietnam etc etc - (like Kidman, CPC etc have done) - what an opportunity over the past 18 months - but they've gone 180 degrees in the other direction....i might consider buying again when it hits closer to $1 again...they'll get an uplift from the reevaluation of property prices (which they are obviously holding back to offset the next poor result)...but thats not a cash impact....for those holding the stock, your major shareholder mate in the Bahamas will undoubtedly restructure the thing in due course and imo that will pay off for you...good luck to all
