Austal would like to buy the facilities in South Australia in order to build the frigates required by Saudi Arabia. Austal is quietly confident it can get this massive order from Saudi Arabia but its facilities at Henderson at not big enough to built these ships. If they cannot be built in Australia the ships will be built in USA. Interestingly one of Austal's directors is married to a princess of the Saudi Royal House.
