Jason Kelly. I think the whole purpose of listing on the ASX was essentially two fold:
1. It's apparently a lot easier to list here and the ASX is pretty keen on renewing the IPO activity which had been pretty woeful until late 2013 onwards.
2. As you are aware a huge amount of stock is held by Chinese domiciles entities. I doubt that they would want to have any listing in China and that will probably include HK - why have capital (be it in the shape of escrowed stock) in a country where you don't want it!! Logically the USA would be the place to have a second listing but may require the ASX listed entity to have minimum market cap requirements etc. I am not sure on that but JP Morgan are the nominated advisors I believe but no idea where the subject is headed..
