    ok, some food for thought regarding 1) pyrrhotite

    Pentlandite is an important ore of nickel. However, it does not produce good crystals and is generally only found in massive form. It is commonly associated with other sulfides such as pyrite, chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite in basic igneousrock intrusions. These sulfide ore bodies are probably produced through magmatic segregation. As the hot liquid of the magma cools, crystals of high-density minerals such as metal sulfides fall to the bottom of the magma chamber and collect into one large metal-rich bonanza for mining companies.
    Pentlandite's close association with the mineral pyrrhotite (Fe1-xS) is believed to be the result of exsolution that occurs after magmatic segregation. At higher temperatures and pressures, the chemicals that make up the two minerals are compatible in a more or less semi-solid form. But as the temperature and pressure lower, the two chemistries become incompatible and they separate into two different minerals. The two are difficult to differentiate when pyrrhotite is in a massive form. Both are brassy yellow, dense and metallic with a hardness around 4 and a similar streak. Pyrrhotite is usually magnetic, although weakly so, and lacks the octahedral parting of pentlandite which provides the only good field tests for differentiation. But the two are so often and intimately associated that if you have a sample of pentlandite, you can be assured that you also have pyrrhotite!

    2) from ANN--"The principal rock type intersected in the drilling was a banded garnet bearing granulite rock"

    Remapping a corridor from the Thompson Nickel Belt (TNB) 60 km west to Threepoint Lake (south of Nelson House) and a preliminary interpretation of geochemistry and Nd isotope data provide new evidence for an Archean age of crystallization and/or mantle extraction of biotite granulite facies orthogneiss in the northeastern part of the Kisseynew Domain。 A composite stratigraphic section through the narrow belts of this paragneiss comprises basal quartzite (containing only Archean detrital zircons) and minor calcsilicate gneiss, overlain by garnet-biotite gneiss and aeromagnetically prominent sulphide-facies iron formation.

    Garnet rock is also a type of rock relates to Ni deposit....and iron formation is also important for finding mineral deposit..

    so this is not a game over like someone who desperately sold and it could be a one more step closer of finding big pay dirt....

    no wonder BOA like to do DHEM and going to do core Assay, there must be a good reason.........so could be something underneath that garnet sheet........also several other targets in Boa lease found from gravity servey also have poential....

    if anyone care to research and be mindful, you should felt better and a bit more confidance of holding Boa......i am a chinese, from what i google chinese articles, many nickle and copper deposits in china are in relation to garnet rock, pyrrhotite, pentlandite and pyrite.
