This was a post by tubber on the WIN thread after they drilled a strong EM conductor and found zip:

"The spruiking of EM anomalies is going to be the death of exploration funding, 99.9% of all EM anomalies are black shale with pyrite, and 99% of those that aren't are salt water or something unrelated to mineralisation. To be honest the clue to knowing if a company have a shale/pyrite related EM anomaly is the strength of it, if it's 10 times better than a known deposit, ie Nova, then it's shale related, if it's subtle and has the right geochem over it, and be careful cause black shales tend to sponge up all kinds of metals and will give a geochem anomaly, then one might be onto something."

I like the 'subtle and right geochem' comments...anyone know a company that has an EM conductor that fits this description
