I thought I had already explained, it's not ore being lost, it's unnecessary dilution from the headwall because the piecework rates were based on draw-down tonnage, which is common practise in the industry. And the stopes were being over-drawn during the breaking cycle which caused excessive dilution.
Changing the piecework rates is one of a number of improvement initiatives introduced by Rob Gregory. He has already made a huge difference over his 9 months in post.
Head grade should now improve over the next 10 months and throughput will also improve once the new service shaft is commissioned in c. Sep 2016.
Thus throughput will eventually reach 204kt/qtr from the current 180kt/qtr and fully diluted head grade should reach c. 7.2g/t. Recovery is already in the range of 93-95%. So overall production is set to rise by stages until the LT sustainable level is reached in 1Q16.
