Ten Network Holdings (ASX:TEN) has released a statement saying the television station continues discussions with various parties regarding a potential sale of the company.
Ten notes media reporting today that Discovery Communications has walked away from the table after Ten proposed Discovery take a 14.99 per cent stake and a board seat.
Both parties are believed to be discontented over a series of leaks regarding the sales process and other price-sensitive information.
Ten maintains talks continue but says they may not result in an acceptable transaction.
Ten Network made a net loss of $163 million for the full year to 31 August 2014.
