The profit result was not anything to get excited about. If DVN can't make a decent profit in the current market of low interest rates and strong investor demand for units and town houses - when will they ever deliver ! Management talks about recycling of assets - it would be better to sell the assets and return the funds to the shareholders.
Leighton has more on their plate than the sale of DVN. The sale process of DVN would not seem to be on Leighton's radar. DVN just drifts along with expensive management in place. Based on the results management should take a pay cut.
It is about time the sale of DVN is concluded and quickly.
