I don't think that 400 to 500mm of rain in 48hrs will be minor flooding. It will come right across the SE with probably severe flooding in Maryborough, Gympie, Bundaberg and parts of Gladstone and other smaller communities. Regardless of how many claims there will be negative perception of insurers until the impact becomes known one way or another.
