Near impossible to win any such case and it would cost millions IMO. Bad enough fighting a local govt department let alone a organisation like this. We used a lodgement body and if it is anything like any other govt style thing there will declarations regarding liability for delays being zero as long as process was followed. If process is poorly defined then no chance. If it is tightly defined we won't have pockets big enough and would need teh support of information from out lodging party and like they are going to help when it is their whole business and reputation being dragged through the mud. In regards to advice we have received from the party we lodged through or consultants it really depends on the contract and we always had the choice of using them or someone else etc etc.
I'd walk away from this stock before I funded a legal claim as with the info we have been fed is representative of the way they communicated with other parties I wouldn't like the odds and don't have the trust that TIS did everything right at all the right times etc etc.
