Am not a holder of IDC and never have been, but look on with interest on the various postings, fore & against. What is in no doubt is there is a lot of gold there, how much only the future will tell. Apart from the legal & financial issues besetting the company some of you believe the whole mountain is easily accessible as a mining operation. This isnt quite true, The major slip that occured in the past millineum will make mining difficult once the slip area ( fault line ) is reached, orebodies will be offset & it will be very expensive to incline up to access any continuation and some interesting ground conditions will be encountered along the way, but thats far into the future. What the depth is of the base of the slip & the thickness of the minable orebody is i dont know, but its something the company should inform share holders about. As far as the Adit is concerned all that is required is a couple of airleg miners taking a 3m x 3m x 2m cut per shift, easy mining including bolting & meshing. Gear required, 2 handheld machine & airlegs, small bogger ( loader ) compressor & generator. $50,000 at most. 4 m to 6 m advance a day. Just not that hard, so i for one cannot understand where all of the money has gone. Jumbos, larger boggers, IT machine vent fans and other infrastructure can come later.
