Echo Entertainment Group Limited (ASX:EGP) has unveiled a snapshot of its proposed plans for an integrated resort at Queen’s Wharf Brisbane.The casino owner and operator entered into a joint venture called the Destination Brisbane Consortium in July to prepare a proposal for the development.Echo’s consortium is up against a consortium including Crown Resorts Limited (ASX:CWN) and both submitted bids to develop the precinct in October.Echo has advised it expects the Queensland Government to name the winning bidder in the first half of 2015.Echo Entertainment Group reported a net profit of $106.3 million in the 2014 financial year.
