The debt is in the form of convertible notes which mature in 2018 I believe. So even though they have net debt it is long dated and allows them flexibility. I'm still confident that in 4 years the share price will be such that note holders will elect to convert (this implies a 150% increase in the share price from here).
That cash stockpile at times like this comes in very handy.
