Hi 71, they have a similar rule under Qld legislation for environmental licence submissions but I have never once seen it adhered to for major works, they always issue a more information required letter to the proponent. So any licence approvals for these guys will have to go thru the state ringer to convert a pilot plant into a Environmental Authority which goes hand in hand with a mining licence. No fast tracking is possible unless of course you think 2 years for an environmental authority is fast tracking haha!
They are many types of applications for various levels of governmental approvals but if you are talking about an EA then that will probably be the length of the process!
