Hi, thought this tidbit might be transferable to interest for CNX. This was posted by 'imbiber' in the Linc Energy (LNC) thread regarding a Q & A session for their AGM...

My point being for the above, is that being that Linc and Carbon Energy are basically at the top of their fields. Their business plans differ. Personally I like CNX's better as it is far less Capital Intensive and IMO likely to get an easier start with Major's who want more slice of the pie and have the money to spend on such a project. If it is true that LNC are receiving inquiries of those levels, it wouldn't surprise me that CNX are also receiving inquiries.
With the arrest of the the CEO of Zhengzhou Coal IG last December, and additionally 85% or so drop in profits for last financial year, it is in hindsight not surprising that we are on stall or hiatus during their restructuring. After all it is quite a sum of money they will be required to invest in Stage 2 & especially stage 3 (which is the Commercial Panel build) of this project, if they wish it to proceed.
My speculation is that we may continue to be on such until there is a result from Queensland Gov. or ISP giving CNX A-Z process the all clear and project approval. If any have other views I'd be happy to hear it, pos or neg.

These help lead me to believe that there may easily be a niche for UCG in Australia. Additionally such may positively lean towards CNX obtain from a Major (Domestic or Foreign) for Financial JV in the Blue Gum Project, or even a Financial combine JV.
When one wades through all this it becomes harder to stay objective about CNX's future potential and I keep having to stop myself reaching to unpadlock the wallet for more. Not always successfully when the SP for gets tempting.
