TLS doesn't seem to have any trouble 'going around' with 12.2bn shares on issue (an updated figure following the recent billion dollar share buyback). Its last trading price was $5.61 and that is in addition to the healthy dividends it pays out twice a year.
People continually read too much into shares on issue. If CNN were to do a share consolidation now it would destroy each and every shareholder's investment in the company. I'd much rather wait for them to secure some really big deals and start to become profitable on the back of a significant increase in sales and revenues before any consolidation takes place.
Anything less than that would be consolidating on thin air and the share price post consolidation would be just as rooted as it is now.
Deals, revenues and profits first, share consolidations second.
