News: Alchemy Resources defines gold anomalies in Bryah Basin

Alchemy Resources (ASX:ALY) has revealed anomalous gold results from a regolith geochemical sampling program at its Bryah Basin project in Western Australia.

The regolith geochemical sampling program covered four target areas ranging 1 to 3 kilometres in length along interpreted mineralised corridors.

The results of the regolith sampling program outline multiple, coherent gold anomalies in the Flamel, Henry and Troy areas, with peak results of 910ppb and 460ppb gold at Flamel and Henry, respectively.

Anomalous trends are best defined by +4ppb gold contour, that define host mineralised structures, against a background regolith with 1.5ppb gold.

At Flamel, a cohesive 6ppb gold anomaly was returned over 1 kilometre. Within the broad anomaly, multiple sub-parallel, linear plus-10ppb gold anomalies are apparent with several plus-30ppb gold results returned.

The anomaly is in the vicinity of a historic rotary air blast hole that returned elevated gold of and arsenic, and represents a priority drill target.

Based on results to date, the gold anomalous structures in the Flamel area remain open along strike to the north and potentially to the east.

Further regolith geochemical sampling has the potential to expand the area of gold anomalism outside of the known mineralised corridor.

Alchemy is also planning aircore drilling over these gold anomalies, as well as at the previously identified Seaborg and Winchester prospects to test for gold and pathfinder elements in the bedrock below the currently defined footprint.

Earlier in the year, assays at Seaborg included 6 metres at 4.17g/t gold from 9 metres; 10 metres at 1.49 g/t gold from 38 metres; and 2 metres at 14.46g/t gold from 27 metres, including 1 metre at 27.2g/t gold.

These high grade results were contained within a broad gold mineralised envelope that extends from surface which returned a total of 51 metres at 1.04g/t from 24 metres, and 26 metres at 1.43g/t from 37 metres.
