he was actually appointed 10 June 04 but had been a significant shareholder for quite a long time before hand via Virgo Bay, Ohio Holdings & perhaps other entities & yes, the sp actually bottomed @ around 4 cents in Aug 04, but u neglect to note that it had dropped from a high of 17.5 in March 04 the period corresponding to the market's realisation that the climate change business was a dud.
Interestingly the same pattern can be seen in the chart in the leadup to the previous new directions - activated carbon & then dotWAP & surprise surprise again now in the leadup to the latest new direction - oil

if one were of a cynical nature one might think that a cycle, of accumulation at depressed prices (occasioned by the previous biz failure), followed by change of direction to the latest hot sector, followed by biz failure (withdrawal), followed by accumulation . . .& so on, was discernable.
