personally i dont ever take analyst price assumptions at face value
but generally is analysts get the direction right 2 out of 3 times. What they are generally hopeless at is seeing big inflexion points.
so the point is about where it tells you big money will likely head in the near term.
citi is one of the biggest insto brokers in the world. when they issue notes that basically say 'sell Aussie iron ore pure play sector'; - its a safe bet the big funds will be listening.
