For what it's worth, 10-30 stocks is a big ask for a little portfolio. It depends more on how much money you've got elsewhere. For me, I take pretty high risks, but only with 10% of my net worth, and maybe 30% of my cash worth. I certainly wouldn't be putting more than a few % on something like VHL, and I would be comfortable loosing 30% of that. It's not like the company is in critical late stage clinical trials where it may fall by 85% before you get out of bed (Such as ACL just did and cost me a bomb!)(actually I lost an arsenal of quality U.S weapons, so a bomb doesn't cut it) So you have to be disciplined enough to bail when or if it hits your pain threshold. 0.7c is what I recommend. Expect the worst and you'll be prepared to act when you need to.
It still looks encouraging at the moment though.
