Thanks TitusPullo. That makes sense now re the excess mining vs. milling conundrum.
The issue I have with OGC, despite being one of the lowest cost operators on the ASX is that they have never talked about providing a dividend back to shareholders in the time that I have followed them.
This compares to NST, EVN and MLX who are all providing a dividend currently and RRL and BDR that may provide a dividend within a year (RRL reinstating theirs, and BDR possibly providing a maiden dividend).
In addition, I think that their NZ assets are crap (and I am a NZer!). They should offload these or wind them down and focus all their attention on expanding low cost operations in the Phillippines where they are established and already have embedded relationships/ systems /etc.
