Well I disagree with your belief in the total competence of Schlumberger - their frac tree failed and their retreivable bridge plug failed and I have been on several jobs on wells where they have screwed up.
The Eocene reservoirs are not comparable to the deeper x and y zone reservoirs - obviously, and no other horizontal wells were drillied buy Oilex except 76H which gave partial data only.
I beleive Cambay-76H actually had a casing failure and this caused the drillpipe problems.
I think Oilex flowed back 77H too fast initially and that caused the fractures to collapse and heal - that is why they are no flowing back at a low rate.
But most of the above is inferred from the announcements and therefore is open to several different interpretations - I will wait for the cleaned up production data to assess the well as Oilex is doing.
