A better question to ask is why the September bubble ? I've no idea. Emotion could be a reason esp. after Mr. Kermode, great and new things things were expected. Some of the "pirates" are now well entrenched with the blessing of at least the NSW Govt. - 3% market share is being talked about with two of the app. guys , that's in bookings and credit card transactions (the legal ones) - although they also will be hit by the surcharge reduction (in December I think). That will halt the 3% pay to drivers for processing credit cards through them, have to drop to 1% or less I suppose. As long as the no. of bookings continues to increase for the new players then the less revenue CAB is getting ---- and that's bearing in mind that the new players as yet are unable to advertise to the public, that's changing now with a modified Transport Passenger Bill being passed just recently in NSW.
