Yes pomhat, I have read osi's post's -- and I find plenty of reason for outrage .
To suggest that ebola will be confined to less hygienic cultures and amplify the contention that it is under control is misleading. To suggest that it cannot be spread thru airborne means is also -- it is spread by bodily fluids and that includes saliva. If an infected person were to sneaze directly in your face that is contagious.
All the leading health authorities are making quite dire warnings about this and the UN warns that if the spread of Ebola can’t be contained within 60 days, it could turn into a global plague.
If you and hanrahan find comfort in osi's downplaying of the risks that's fine, but that is not sanity as suggested.
I think it better to prepare for the worst, we will all know within a couple months or so -- we can take up the debate again at that time.
