if your location was so dynamic, you should have asked for Frozen Coke Machine! Point is you opened with a story about a sign and now there's a ramble about win win and power costs. Do you know that most beverage suppliers (excluding dairy) have coolers that manage their own cooling cycles via learning traffic flows? Sign a contract or other form of accountability and you might just get one. Be they CCL, Schweppes or whomever, sure they have targets to hit, but they also want to come back again and again so unlikely to sell a broad portfolio of crap items.

Do you have food and beverage / snack bundles (better than giving stuff away for free). Beverage velocity is better than most other categories so hit your MARS or Smiths Crisps rep up for a discount and apply that to the bundle. Funnily enough, the more you sell, the more they'll all want to hold you....congratulations, you now have leverage.

Back to CCL. I am a fan. I read the same stories as you, they have let pricing run ahead of demand, there's some portfolio work that needs attention and there is a mix swing to larger format retailers. You are in the sweet spot so rather than asking for a sign, ask for tonnes of free capital equipment to help drive your sales. You'll be happy, the rep will be happy and if you both do a great job and consumers buy, I'll be bloody happy too!
