With all due respect old man, since 24 October 2003 (11 years), when it was listed, Oilex has been singularly unsuccessful in ever completing a commercial drill. Now that must surely put them in the Guinness Book. From memory they even managed to fail in Dubai - which is still on their books.

In that period, other than short/medium term traders that had the good sense to sell out, make a quick buck and run. Every other investor over that 11 year period, many many small/medium size investors, that took the story has ever made a buck. It's been a one way street, CR after CR, duster after failure - under the leadership of Dr Bruce Mccarthy, who is still very much involved as a non-executive Director and Ron's right hand man.

What do they have to show for their efforts over these years - zip. They have raised money from investors, remunerated themselves quite comfortably, run some unsuccessful drilling projects and delivered nothing.
Yes, I am loosing faith, what little I had. Well in reality I've been stubbornly (stupidly) desperately cling to hope more than any faith. And now that hope is even looking rather tatty.

As I mentioned before 76H was going to be the game changer for the company ... but, same old.
Then came 77H ... jury still out.

I would very much like to think that this pattern can be broken, the jinx exorcised, and I've been holding my breath waiting

Many of us were conned around 2011 early '12, by unscrupulous advisors (NOMADS), that haled OEX as a very prospective good value oilie.

No doubt, if OEX are unsuccessful in proving up commerciality of 77H they will continue on business as normal and turn to Canning to anchor further CRs to keep the ship afloat - just rinse and repeat.

Sorry once again for being to glum, but when I read that last announcement it was so reminiscent, virtually a cut and past, of their 76H announcements - a great prospect, few minor problems but we are doing our best best blah blah, just for your own edification go back and have a look. This latest one did not engender any confidence, once you strip out the pithy words it holds very little substance. I've written so many similar media releases over many years - I was a master at it.
