News: White Star Resources advances geospatial imaging technology

White Star Resources (ASX:WSR) continues to progress the Spookfish Technology Demonstrator, capturing sample imagery to test and validate radiometric quality of the sensor system.

The revolutionary camera system developed by Spookfish for use in the Technology Demonstrator will be assembled next month and the technical team will then begin a full-system flight test program to capture and process imagery.

The demonstrator will test all aspects of the technology including camera systems, data storage, processing, and flight operations which will then be scaled up for the Spookfish commercial offering next year.

Spookfish is an Australian company seeking to redefine the global geospatial industry with subscription-based access to high quality imagery and textured 3D models.

The high resolution aerial imaging market is part of a global industry known as “Geographic Information Systems” which helps companies and governments build, maintain and extract maximum value from their physical assets.

Geospatial imaging is at the core of this industry and is estimated to be a significant market opportunity.

Spookfish has an experienced management and technical team developing technology to capture high resolution images at different heights.
