The way in which you contort a view of my behaviour is laughable.

I have simply explained my rationale. As if hot copper would drive bank stock prices - I'm intrigued by the simplicity of your thinking.

Thats the second time youve said such a thing about my views on a stock - the other was MMS.

But - because I post to hot copper to help educate and be educated - I will explain.

To me yesterday reflected the prevailing staus quo - Dow went up so ASX went up so index funds bought the big 4 + BEN as they are more preferred than BOQ for reasons I;ve posted previously.

However - those 5 will probably depend on what the DOW does from here.

Whereas BOQ having relatively low P/E ratio and upcoming dividend seemed more likely to outperform over the 2 month timeframe I had in mind for investing.

BOQ will lag in its timing vs the others because its the least preferred of the 6. But it should strengthen the closer it gets to dividend date.

Esp as an impending dividend will likely attract fund investors - when there;s na huge amount of fund buyng of BOQ currently.

NAB had stock speciifc news which is why it outperformed. And If id known that was coming I;d have been on NAB not BOQ - but i can only act on what I know.

As i said - at a general level - i think the capital growth upside is now out of the bank stocks - unless the offshore yield investors come back.

But BOQ i think has more capital growth upside between now and its full year report.

You do not have to agree. I am not asking you too.

But please show more respect than to make out I'm posting to influence other investors.
