Lately I've been bombarded with online ads for Panadol Extra (Paracetamol + Caffeine)
My local Chemist was selling them for $13 ... Chemist warehouse had the 40 tablets for 7 bucks...They also had 100 tablets of Panamax 500mg Paracetamol for $1.80... so I opted for 2 packets of Panamax (200 tablets) $3.80...
200 tablets of panadol extra wouda be $35... with the $31.20 saved I could buy couple kilos of coffee for my short blacks that would last me months...
Few years ago when I was in the USA... I bought Bayer AM Aspirin + Caffeine.. it was great..
But they pulled it off the shelves and you couldn't get anymore... When I came back to OZ.. I just took an aspirin with a short black when I was sluggish and needed a lift... It always worked....
I still don't know why we can't get the Aspirin and Caffeine tablets!
I think if they can't make a killing from Panadol Extra... they may discontinue it like Bayer AM....
