That is imo exactly what is required, the aggregation strategy is clearly the way to go to commercialise a whole swag of assets in PNG but it lacks impetus. It is my hope that Talismans stake in Pandora will find its way into the hands of someone who has the commitment and the balance sheet to drive this forward. As an added bonus any transaction will provide greater clarity or confirmation of CMT's 40% stake. A Chinese SOE would do nicely imo.
Perhaps now that the HZN/ROC merger has fallen thru HZN will be more focused on aggregation ?
