fugu, he says he still holds his CMC shares and indicates that he has completely written them off... perhaps he believes in honest and open discussion, rather than just 'helping his cause'.

I no longer hold, but took an 85% loss on an $8K holding (better opportunity with a hell of a lot more long-term potential). The investment case was sound originally imo, but it certainly went to sheet in all the ways that butcherbird has detailed. Tis a damn shame... the quality of management (as portrayed by the broker that passed this tip on to a friend) was meant to be one of the key strengths of this company... i hope for all those still holding that they somehow come through with the goods, despite their inability to communicate effectively.
