Aviya I guess the good thing about having stockbrokers as major shareholders is that, assuming they want the price to go higher rather than lower, they have the capacity and power to do a massive "pump" to the price on an announcement. Think PSY. Whether or not the price stays at high levels is dependent on the quality of the announcement, new buyers/long termers etc. but generally such stocks with boards who are actively seeking transactions, coupled with major holders who are brokers can equal a huge spike in price.
