Yep!...i agree....i just sell any stocks in june that are going backwards and look like nothings happening in the near future...so i offload them in june...not to buy them back at all or ever again...but to put funds into a new stock or add to one that i have that is going ok...so better to do that in june rather than july i reckon...i don't consider that as tax avoidance...i look it as cleaning up my portfolio 1yr for a fresh start the next yr.
