Well UGL sells DTZ for $1.2B, AFR speculates if UGL will go for a takeover of TSE, whilst they also speculate on UGL eyeing John Holland, which used to be incidentally owned by Transfield Holdings before the split days of Operations and Maintenance division (now Transfield Services) and the Construction \ Engineering business which was sold to Leightons and become John Holland (old name Transfield (Construction))
It will be interesting now that UGL will have a war chest to go shopping and TSE has been trending down the last couple of weeks, not sure why, but the shorters must be at it again...
TSE share price has been ripe for quite some time for a takeover, and they have some juicy contracts like the $1.2B Detention Centre 20mth contract plus others on the order books, i'm still at pains to understand why this share price is so cheap....
