I read your disillusioned post when it appeared - surprised me to hear U so downcast.
Maybe more behind that than just the stock performance I don't know...but I wish you well and support in any case.
I delayed my reply, and glad I did, for such a display of caring, considered response and targeted analysis came forth from those who've since replied to you.
Take your time to reflect and re-prioritise your thoughts. My venture into EPW largely mirrors theirs and yours, I'm probably about break-even or just below, but have been there with other quality stocks and slowly regained ground.
Something that hasn't been mentioned amongst all the value that has Mister Z is that there is NO indication that EPW won't again being paying you another handsome dividend around Oct.
Don't underestimate the influence the uncertainty the MacGen bid had on this slide, and whilst that shouldn't still be front of s/holders minds, what is in the minds of existing and potential EPW customers is the ongoing uncertainty of the status of the Coalition Federal Budget goals.
I sense a general holding pattern out there for a while longer.
I do hope you are in a situation to hold for a bit longer too, (fundamentally I see nothing ailing EPW), but if you are considering quitting for 'greener' pastures, maybe you could stage it, and hedge your bets on a turnaround in SP over the next 6 - 12 mths. (challenges ahead yes, insurmountable(?)...NOT to this management imo.
Not financial advice by any means, I am as prone to mis-judgement as the rest of us, but was quite taken aback by your uncharacteristic swing.
Anyway, all the best Z-man, and JW thanks, I was so chuffed by a comment from someone I respect, it wasn't warranted...but graciously accepted nonetheless.
Night all.
