They have already had the discussion...called it off for one reason or another.
Now they are drilling...if the news is good those already canvassed will not want to pay more than already offered, regardless of what news eventuates.
It will be up to the Company to hold their nerve here though...the extent of which, if they do, may depend on results of drilling.
I suspect they will already have an idea from their first drill, which I suspect has already intersected the target zone by now...and see the obvious pressure suddenly bought to bare and lack-lustre sell-down as a positive.
If the stock went the other way, release of good news may have pushed it instantly over 10c and forced a much higher placement...but, if they can push it down to say 5c (as they did during the week), good news may be more easily "managed".
I am expecting news next week...if not from the drill, then perhaps a placement and news from the drill together.
If you have something good...hold the line SPX.
If you feel you are being screwed in a placement, go somewhere else...if anything it will cause issues for them to recover the stock they sold to force it down (fully expecting to recover it via the placement).
It's a dirty business...
