A Chart doesn't care what you or anyone else is expecting, it just paints a picture based on all the data it's received. The pictures also going to change based on what point you're looking at it from, and how you interpret it.

Just because you're expecting good news, doesn't mean the charts going to agree with you- or vice versa. Maybe the chart knows something you don't, maybe the charts just plan wrong...

A chart is not an absolute, nor are your assumptions and expectations. It's just another tool in your arsenal.

If you can't understand how a chart might be useful, then don't waste anymore of your time looking at one. There's been some recent discussion on these threads about charts, so this post was aimed at holders who use charts, hence why it was posted in the "charts" sub forum, and not directly under "ASX- By stock" like all the other ACL posts. It also wasn't posted so we could have discussion about the merits of Charting, that's something definitely not for this forum.
