Seems it's going to hit the coast north of Cooktown, which is sparsely populated.
The projection then has it turning south and heading behind Cairns, but one would assume the intensity would have abated by then.
Like most cyclones, it will just do what it wants. No doubt there'll be impact on SUN, but may not be significant.
