Typically with fracking the gas flows taper off to roughly 50% of the initial flow rate in three to six months and 20 to 25% after a year.
I work in a lab that tests flow back samples for tracer analysis.
The Marion wells are verticals, not sure how many sections of shale they have to fracture or how many feet of shale.
Different locations around the world have different flow profiles.
They will need to isolate the non frack gas flows from the frack flows to determine flow rates.
That will take some time.
